The NSDC Institutional Chapter at Dwarkadas Sanghvi College of Engineering offers opportunities to advance the study and use of data science and to unite students who are passionate about it. Students can practice their abilities and expand their skillset and gain hands-on experience by planning events, workshops, and projects. The chapter was founded in February of 2023. Chapter Activities & Projects

This Chapter has a number of initiatives and activities planned, including:

  • Bringing in speakers with technical knowledge in the area of data science;
  • Creating a newsletter, which may contain articles from teachers and alumni, technical jokes, and a calendar of forthcoming events;
  • Establish a mentoring program where senior students assist junior students in paving the way for their futures in data science by assisting them with their projects, providing advice on questions and concerns, etc;
  • Create a website for DJS-NSDC where we can post information about forthcoming events, photos, newsletters, blogs, and more;
  • Offering workshops on resume-building capstone projects and instructing everyone on the tools and software used in data science;
  • Developing a platform for internships;
  • Hosting datathons
