In a Medium essay on August 24, Charles Kalpeke of the University of California, Berkeley’s Center for Long Term Cybersecurity (CLTC) explores the ripple effects of the pandemic, and its aftermath, on cybersecurity. CLTC has a rich history of using scenario planning to help understand potential future developments in cybersecurity, recognizing that this is intertwined with many other factors, including shifts in geopolitics, economics, consumer behavior and public opinion, to name only a few. Our executive director Florence Hudson shares this Innovation Insight, noting, “This is a thought provoking read, and not highly technical.”
